The design of the case study is mainly focused towards the aspect of interactiveness. For
that aspect the area has been divided into 3 main zones. One being the residential zone, the
Forest (Food Forest) and the third being the recreational zone. In the residential Zone, the
design is done utilising various vernacular design elements (Some like the ventilators used
in the design etc). Other aspects like providing cul-de-sacs have created different communal
spaces for the people interact in. Aspects like the food forest also has created a locally
enriching place, which provides in with necessary goods as well as a space where the
community can interact and have a common space/hobby. The recreational space also has
been provided in for the people for various social needs of the people living in these
communities.

In this project Various sustainable ideas have been implemented in it. Some ideas like the
Sustainable Food crop idea which is built on the land where the Old rubber trees used to
exist has made that portion of land rejuvenate in terms of biodiversity as well as soil and
eco-system quality. Implementation of Vernacular architecture and material usage also has
made this place an eco-friendly Sustainable area.
