                  2.4 Rationale for Heritage Resort




                  Alappuzha presents a strong case for the establishment of a heritage resort project

                  because of the area's exceptional combination of natural beauty, cultural legacy, and
                  tourism potential. Alappuzha, known as the "Venice of the East," is a great place for a

                  heritage resort because of its historical value, charming backwaters, and traditional

                  houseboats.



                  First of all, Alappuzha's rich cultural legacy—which is exemplified by its historic

                  temples, buildings from the colonial era, and lively regional customs—offers a

                  compelling setting for a heritage resort. The resort is able to provide guests with an
                  immersive experience that honours the region's legacy while offering contemporary
