The mosque's spiritual atmosphere is enhanced by the deliberate use of natural light, and the
placement of openings serves to emphasise the relationship between the divine and the
physical world. A sense of divine illumination is created by the play of light behind the
mihrab and through the perforated dome, which highlights the vertical connection to the
heavens(fig.26).

Within, the interior is filled with triangle-shaped patterns(fig.27) that cross over carpets,
walls, and light fixtures. With an open perforated screen separating it from the main hall, the
elevated female prayer area offers seclusion without sacrificing its significant connection to
it. This design takes into account cultural and spiritual subtleties within the sacred space in
addition to architectural elegance.
