2.7 Rationale
Creating a connection between the old and the new is one of the best methods to
establish an intangible link. This can be achieved by emphasizing the differences
between the old and new construction, which will give the impression of
continuity and development.
Improving public spaces: Lastly, by giving guests a contemporary and inviting
atmosphere, improving public spaces surrounding old architecture can foster an
intangible bond. This can be achieved by putting up public art, making green
areas, and planning inclusive and accessible outdoor seating areas.
