2.5 Scope
The primary goal resulted in the renovation and enlargement of the current main
building.
• Repurposing the current cruise terminal preserves the spirit of the location and
establishes a gathering area for visitors.
• The potential for public interaction areas and activities that revitalise the port
area's current vitality.
• The potential for waterfront development that connects the general public to a
shared area.
2.6 Limitation
Constructing a port extension while taking current shoreline restrictions and
historical rules into account.
• Managing the area is difficult because of the substantial floating population and
high volume of docking spaces that create water traffic.
• Limited months of the year when space is used. to design areas that keep
people interested all year long.
• The absence of updated technology and services that can be addressed by
implementing automated systems and more recent technologies.
