        Faculty Development Programs



         Dr.  Ramakrishnan  R  &  Dr.  Sathish  G.P.  organised  a  faculty
         development  program  on  “Digital  Transformation  in  Industry
         4.0  Revolution:  The  Power  of  AI,  Robotics,  and  Additive
         Manufacturing  for Next Generation Industry” from 01/04/2024
         to 05/04/24





                                              Dr.  S.  Senthil  Kumar  &  Dr.  Bikash  Routh  organised  a  faculty
                                              development  program  on  “Trends  and  Challenges  in  Implementing
                                              IOT for Digital Twin Applications” from 01/04/2024 to 05/04/24







        A  Six-day  Faculty  Development  Program  was  organized  by  School  of
        Mechanical  Engineering  on  “Circular  product  Development  Strategies,
        Responsible  Production  and  Consumption,  End-of-Life  Disposal”
        Sponsored by AICTE under ATAL Scheme during 12-02-24 to 17-02-24.

        WORKSHOPS

        An  International  workshop  on  “Overview  of            The  SMEC  conducted  a  Two  Day  Workshop
        Electric  Vehicle  Technology”  was  conducted  on        on  “Additive  Manufacturing  for  Future:
        15/04/2024  as  a  part  of  the  "Going  Global          AM2030"  in  association  with  Coventry
        Partnership   Scheme     supported   by    "British       University, UK, sponsored by British Council
        Council".  The  topics  covered  in  the  workshop        which  was  scheduled  on  the  27th  to  28th
        include  Electric  Vehicles,  Battery  Materials,         March 2024.
        Battery  Thermal  Management,  Battery  Swapping
        Station, Govt. Policies on EVs.


















        The SMEC organized a Two-day Workshop on Converge CFD Software (5-6,
        October 2023). The workshop focused on how to set, run, and post-process
        CFD  and  heat  transfer  simulations  using  Converge  CFD.  The  tutorials  also
        covered  simple  fluid  flow,  heat  transfer  examples,  and  complex  IC  engine
        benchmark problems.
