All service-related structures, including the service yards for loading
and unloading, metro water sumps, generator and transformer yards, septic
tank and treatment plans, air-conditioning AHU rooms, etc. are all along
access service road to the right end of the site.

2.1.3. Access & Circulation
2.1.3.1. Vehicular Access
Parking provisions for 2-wheelers is provided immediately upon
entering the site. Upon parking, access distances to the built structures are a
maximum of 175m. 4-wheeler car parking is provided separately along the
edge of the site and through the north-south length of the site. Upon parking,
access distances to reach the built structures, vary between 50m to up to
300m. No valet parking provisions were available.
2.1.3.2. Pedestrian Access
Pedestrian access from the entrance gate of the Chennai Trade Centre
to the built structures, is through the shared internal road. No exclusive
pedestrian pathways have been provided. Most spaces after the driveway are
open-to-sky and do not offer shaded corridors. They are although paved to be
used as additional breakout spaces for the exhibition halls. Figures 6 and 7
indicate the continuous internal road, open paved areas and the exhibition
halls.
2.1.3.3. Service Access
Service access is provided along the right edge of the site through a
continuous internal road. As seen in Figure 8, Large service yards are
provided behind the exhibition structures to facilitate loading and unloading
