1. INTRODUCTION

With the pressures of workload, workplace politics and managing multiple responsibilities, the
typical office environment can be challenging for oneself. A terrific solution for office

professionals is a getaway stay. The getaway stay is generally provided by corporate companies
for their employees to the tune of hundred to two-hundred, where they stay for a short-term

period to recuperate, build their team, improve communication and enhance creativity.

1.1. Getaway

A getaway is a place where you go for a vacation. Getaway in this project is for corporate

people to step away from their work space and relax and bond with their colleagues. Here the

primary need of the corporate people will be focused on.

1.2. Concept

The concept for this getaway is to combined the terms work, retreat and leisure.

1.2.1. Work

Work away from work. This term includes a work space to brainstorm, meet and work in case
work emergences occur. But here the challenge will be to ensure that it does not affect the other

factors ‘Retreat’ and ‘Leisure’.

1.2.2. Retreat

To create bonding among the colleagues and to relax away from work. Many companies go
for outing and retreats such as a day at the beach or a resort where they have informal
