2. LITERATURE STUDY
In designing this Getaway, understanding the working conditions of employees especially

those working in IT companies, a link was passed around among selective known people. In

this study, a detailed analysis will be made to understand the potential client.

In figure 2.1 you can see the age group of the employees. Ages varying from 21 to 55. Here

many employees stick to the age group of early 20s to late 30s. To understand the work as an

employee the question of their profession was raised. In Figure 2.2 you can see the varying
professions. Since IT employees have secured as the higher profession in trend other than the

term others, voucher and designing for IT people as focus center was considered.

9 to 5 job hours have been an employee’s choice these days. The question of working hours

and days were circulated among these people and it is sad to have a mean of 5 to 6 days a

week for 6 to 9 hours per day. Hence proving the 9 to 5 working hours term. Figure 2.3
shows the working days in a week and figure 2.4 show ths working hours in a day.

Since our target are working people, a question of how they destress was question the
following are a few replies form the people.
