                     ILLUMINATION

                        Thesis Report V-SPARC VIT
The lighting design and illumination took a great deal of effort. Lights positioned on the floor,
walls, and beneath the ceiling are all part of a comprehensive interior lighting scheme that
                     highlights the building's unusual shape.

                     HVAC DESIGN AND SYSTEMS:

                         • The designers wanted to produce a structure that would use local energy resources for

heating, ventilation, and lighting while staying within the project's financial limits.

                         • There were two temperature zones planned. The lower temperature zone is made up of the
two exhibition wings, each standing 10 meters tall. The office, conference, and study areas
on the west wing are maintained warmer. By opening the dividing walls, both zones can

be interconnected during the summer. The building's energy efficiency was significantly
increased by this "climate zone" split.

                         • The amount of natural light that floods the building reduces the need for artificial light

during the working day. The client's floor-heating system, which will save winter heating
