1. INTRODUCTION
1.1. Multipurpose Football Stadium
The goal of this thesis is to investigate the planning and execution of
multipurpose football stadiums, emphasizing how best to utilize them as
sustainable, flexible, and inclusive assets in the city. These stadiums can
become vibrant hubs for social interaction, cultural expression, and economic

development by utilizing cutting-edge architectural concepts, technological
innovations, and community-driven initiatives.
The most significant thing we'll research, though, is how community
involvement can improve these stadiums. We can make sure the stadium fits
their needs and reflects their values by paying attention to the people who
work and live nearby. This could entail doing things like partnering with
nearby companies and organizations, hosting public meetings to solicit
feedback, or even allowing community members to participate in the design
process.
We can build stadiums that are real assets to their communities, offering
chances for entertainment, recreation, and long-term economic growth, by
planning them with inclusivity, sustainability, and community involvement
in mind. We want to use this research to encourage planners, designers, and
legislators to reconsider the function of football stadiums in our communities
and look into innovative ways to make them functional for all users.
This study is primarily concerned with the design of stadiums that are
accessible and inclusive to all. This means establishing spaces that make
people of different ages, skills, and interests feel at home and at ease. Our
goal is to create an atmosphere where everyone can participate and enjoy
themselves, and we strive to achieve this by incorporating features like
ample seating options, barrier-free access, and sensory-friendly amenities.
1.2. Inclusive Design In Stadiums
Still, a lot of stadiums struggle with issues like physical barriers, poor
infrastructure, and little accommodations for people with disabilities. In
order to evaluate current practices and pinpoint areas for improvement, this
research uses a mixed method approach that combines literature review,
case study analysis, and stakeholder interviews.
