The communal kitchen is an important part of the eco village as it provides in not only food
but a communal as well as a space for sharing resources as well. The community kitchen is
the one of the main building’s which in a sense connects the residents and the people living
in the co-housing area together. The building consists of an eco-garden to grow produces for
the kitchen, an open area for dining, a closed dining spaces and a waiting area where the
person can sit in and relax while the food either gets prepared or after a long period of waiting.
The people who are using the facilities like plates also then gets the responsibility of cleaning
them and giving it back in the designated room given to them. The open areas make the space
