This building is a library space situated in between the co-housing and the residential zone.
This space has been designed an placed in such a way that anyone can come in and read and

relax being in the library, which is open towards different views of the fields. The building
consists of a central courtyard which then opens into a semi open reading rooms and spaces.
The library is one of the other spaces which act as the interactive space between the people of
the co-housing unit and the residential area. The library has been divided into various spaces
according to various needs like the different reading rooms (The individual reading rooms,
etc), kids’ reading room, storage area, Computer room etc, according to the need and use of
activity of the person utilizing the facility. The library is therefore a serene and calm place,
where individuals can come in and relax or learn new skills and techniques, which can be
beneficial for living in an ecovillage. The Library therefore becomes the resource hub of the
eco village as well as the one of the backbones of the village, making it extremely essential
in an eco-village design.

The medical area in the design is the essential emergency area in the region, which provides
in basic medical help in case of dire issues/emergencies. The area also acts in as the
essential health point of the region providing emergencies and basic health care whenever
required.
