The soil type of the site has been heavily influenced the type of land use around the site. The
regions with clayey alluvial soil have been mainly utilized as farmlands mainly due to its
ability to absorb and retain water, while the other regions, it is mostly a mixture of red with
alluvial soil, making it difficult to retain water for a long time. So, to design an intervention
on the site is also to understand which types of plants can be used and how food forests and
gardens should be designed
