SMEC’S PRIDE : STUDENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS


     Team Assailing Falcons participated in the  Mr. Sujai Shakthivel of won the overall champion of the    MechnoVIT
     APOGEE23 expo held at Bits Pilani, Rajasthan,  NorthernLights Coimbatore Cube Open2023. The World Cube
     from March 31 to April 3, 2023, and achieved  Association hosted the event from May 27th to 28th, 2023 at
     the "BEST EXHIBITION TEAM APOGEE 23."      Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Sujai won the following awards in six
                                                of the eight competitions in which he competed:
                                                 Gold Medal in the 7x7 Cube and 6x6 Cube Competitions.
                                                 Silver Medal in the 4x4 Cube Competition and the 3x3 Cube
                                                   Competition One-Handed.
                                                                                                            MechnoVIT
                                                 Bronze Medal in the 2x2 Cube Competition and Megaminx
                                                   Cube Competition.














    Mr. Shaik Rahaman Sharif (19BME0393) completed his research internship under MITACS Globalink at
    Ontario Tech University, Canada and published an article titled “Binder-free NiO/CuO hybrid structure via
    ULPING (Ultra-short Laser Pulse for In-situ Nanostructure Generation) technique for supercapacitor electrode”
    with “Scientific Reports” Journal as a part of the internship with Prof. Amirkianoosh Kiani.            MechnoVIT

     Mr. Rajan Malewar (19BME0676) and Mr. Vaibhav Mall (18BME0540) have been awarded “Engineering
     Network Grants to the tune of 5500 Euros from RWTH Aachen Germany. This is a prestigious scholarship
     offered to pursue their Masters at RWTH Aachen.
