PROGRAMS ORGANIZED
The Automotive Research Centre and the School of
Mechanical Engineering jointly organized the "27 th
National Conference on “Internal Combustion Engines
and Combustion“. The Conference focused with an
emphasis on developing vehicles that use Sustainable
Fuels and biofuels. Discussions were held to find
suitable alternatives to reduce the carbon footprint in
the coming years. The NCICEC2022 also featured with
in-depth plenary sessions and panel discussions on IC
Engine future trends.
A One-day Workshop on “CAD Modelling of Products using
CREO software towards the Development of Augmented
Reality” was organized by School of Mechanical
Engineering with an aim of skill enhancement in the field of
advanced 3D modeling concepts like Sweep, Blend, Helical
sweep, Variable section sweep. Mr. S. Magesh, Senior
Application Manager, Adroitech Engineering Solution Pvt.
Ltd., Channai was the resource person of the program.
One day Workshop On “Vehicle Dynamics & Crashworthiness with
Carsim – Case Studies” was organized by School of Mechanical
Engineering in Cojunction with Xitadel CAE Technologies India Pvt.
Ltd., Bangalore.
The programs focused on CarSim Overview, Subsystems modelling:
Power Train, Brake system, Modelling in CarSim etc.
The School of Mechanical Engineering organized a FDP on
“Artificial Intelligence” to the faculty and staff. This program was
designed to foster an understanding of the interdisciplinary
technologies of artificial intelligence and machine learning, as well
as their implementations.
