Motivated students who all are very good in leadership and hardworking quality can enter to this industry. Advantage of the industry is that real
talents can quickly reach higher positions in a shorter time. Currently this Industry having high scarcity of right talents, so it the right time for a
aspiring candidate to enter to the world of Fashion.
Are there specific skills or qualifications that students should focus on developing for success in this industry?
Skill and Attitude are key elements industries will focus with young talents. Students should develop more on Leadership qualities, also need to
focus topics like Industrial engineering, Quality management, Data analytics, robotics, AI and production management subjects.
Industry Trends:
What are the current trends and innovations shaping the Apparel, Textile and Footwear Industry?
Big expansion plan in this sector as most of the Chinese factories are moving towards India and globally in other countries. Automation and
Digitalisation is the key focus currently across this sector. Lot of innovative ideas can transform the manpower-oriented business to new
transformation of low costautomation oriented.

keep more Industry projects to interact with Industry people, also always connect through industry conferences so gain lot of activities
happening across the field.

Huge opportunity available in this sector as the field still required huge learning curve to international markets like other sectors.

Marketkeep on changing due to global crisis, internally righttalentat rightplace also verycritical in this Industry.
Can you share a personal or industry-related challenge you've encountered and how you addressed it?
Operations , having huge challenge to meet the customer requirements, some months there will be sleepless nights and 360 degree angle need
to think to achieve the targets. Specifically during the month of December closing the month is a nightmare in African regions as Christmas
holidayfalls with higher absenteeism.

Most of the East Asian big giants are coming to India specifically State of Tamil Nadu and Telangana, which will deliver a huge job opportunity.
