World Entrepreneurs’ Day 2024 celebration – Alumni Panel Discussion – 21 Aug

The World Entrepreneurs Day celebration took place on 21 August 2024 at VIT Vellore,
organized by the Office of Innovation, Startup & Technology Transfer (VITIST) in
collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), Entrepreneurship
Development Cell (EDC), and the VIT Alumni Association (VITAA). The event saw an
excellent turnout, with enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and industry
leaders. The sessions were highly engaging, featuring several established entrepreneurs
who shared valuable insights and practical advice for aspiring entrepreneurs.
Office of Alumni Affairs Meeting with working Alumni @VIT Chennai – 27 Aug

The Director and Assistant Director of Alumni Affairs held two separate meetings with
the School Alumni Coordinators and the working alumni members of the VIT Chennai
Campus on 27 August 2024. During the meetings, the Director of Alumni Affairs

encouraged the coordinators and alumni members to promote greater alumni
engagement through initiatives such as knowledge‐sharing sessions and alumni‐
sponsored hackathons to solve the industrial problems in the future.
