                     1.3. Significance of Co-housing in India

                     India  is  experiencing  rapid  urbanization,  leading  to  increased  housing

                     demands  a,  Co-housing,  with  its  focus  on  efficient  land  use  and  shared

                     resources, can provide a sustainable solution to accommodate the growing

                     urban  population.  Co-housing  emphasizes  community  living  and  social
                     interaction, fostering a sense of belonging and mutual support. In a society

                     as diverse as India, co-housing can contribute to building stronger social

                     connections and addressing issues of isolation in urban settings. It offers

                     affordable way of living through shared resources. Co-housing is adaptable
                     to different contexts, including urban and rural areas. It can accommodate

                     diverse family structures, catering to the needs of joint families, nuclear

                     families, and individuals. The flexibility of co-housing models makes them
