                     6.3. Detailed Design of Built Forms

                     As both the auditorium and exhibition space require large span structures

                     that are column free and voluminous in terms of heights, the detail designs in

                     terms  of  planning  for  individual  buildings,  incorporate  the  format  of  main
                     structural members as I section, with portal frames for bracing against winds.

                     I sections are also used to create the metal roof structure.



                     This aside, another component was the incorporation of Air-Conditioning as
                     the  structures  are  heavily  reliant  on  indoor-air  controlled  areas.  Packaged

                     systems-  free  standing  and  ceiling  suspended,  have  been  used  for  the

                     Exhibition Hall whereas AHU systems have been used for the auditorium.
