Soil Type: The most prevalent soil in the area is reddish sandy loam which is characterized
on the banks of river Tungabhadra the reddish-brown soil occurs at the fringes of the hills
due to the decomposition of rocks. However black cotton soil also occurs in the area.
Inference: The foundation of the built could use isolated footing depending on the depth of
underground water
Traffic and activity analysis: Since the site lies 500 m away from the main highway, and it
is in less activity zone, therefore the traffic vehicular or pedestrian is minimum throughout
the day
