Blending of residential and other typologies around the historical and heritage buildings.
The residences lie in linear pattern to the road which are either single storeyed and double

storeyed buildings with wide roads for social activities. Shaded by the trees and accompanied

with a front ‘Katte’ to carry out most of the daily activities.

Residences resembling fortification on the outer edge of the site and shaded naturally by

vegetation. Most of them painted white over the stone masonry and dung plaster to counter

the strong radiations from the sun and decorated with artwork and local craft. Gagan mahal-
A historical monument as a site of social gatherings and celebration space. A historic landmark

and social node for the people of Anegundi.
