6. SPACE AND PROGRAM DERIVATION- STANDARDS
6.1. Administration
Reception:
The reception provided is to be spacious enough to
accommodate guests, visitors, admin staff and
other staff. It should include furniture like tables,

seating/chairs, and storage cabinets. There should
be a connected space for storing office supplies,
documents, and equipment, and for the visitors to

store their baggage.
Waiting Area/Lobby:
Includes seating area for the visitors.
1.5 sqm area should be provided per person.
The minimum clear width of 750 mm must be
provided for circulation, which can be increased
based on other provisions such as water taps, etc.

Office Spaces:
Office room consists of different cabins for admin
of each department in the hub. Furniture includes
working desk, seating, storage in each cabin.
A minimum of 2.2 sqm area should be provided

Manager/Director’s Cabin:
These are comparatively larger cabins for higher
category of admin staff.
The furniture includes working desk, seating and
storage.
A minimum of 12 sqm is to be provided per cabin.
