5. CONCEPT AND DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
The concept development for this mixed-use space revolves around creating a
welcoming and interactive environment that integrates seamlessly with the surrounding
IT hub. The core idea of the design is amalgamating two conventional typologies which

has its own functions and users to break the monotony of both the typology through public
interaction spaces. The following design considerations have been made to do this design
usable by all age group:
a) Outdoor Food Court:
a. A lively outdoor food court is planned to provide casual dining options
and social spaces, fostering a vibrant atmosphere.
b) Parametric Waffle Truss Covered Garden Spaces:
a. The entryway will feature a visually striking parametric waffle truss
structure covered in greenery. This creates a connection to nature and
provides a warm welcome experience.
c) Amphitheater Stage Area:
a. An amphitheater stage is incorporated to host events and performances.
This will not only serve as a destination for entertainment but also
encourage social interaction among visitors and office workers.
d) Voronoi inspired façade design:
The region has already been surrounded by high rise IT buildings, so in order to
differentiate the building the façade of both mall and office building is inspired from
