Comparative Table:
● The comparative table maps out various historical wars against the museum’s
thematic divisions. Each war is broken down into stages corresponding to the
museum’s layout: Rumination, Escalation, Catalyst, Engagement, Turning Point,
Resolution, and Ceasefire. This mapping not only aids in the educational aspect but
also provides a structural blueprint that guides the visitor’s journey through the
museum.
● For instance, the Trojan War begins with trade and political rivalries (Rumination),

escalates to Helen’s abduction by Paris (Escalation), and culminates in the iconic
siege and battles around Troy (Engagement), ending with the fall of Troy
(Ceasefire). Each stage is reflective of the museum's intent to evoke the
corresponding emotional and psychological states associated with these historical
moments.

Narrative Diagram:
● The narrative diagram visually represents the linear progression and interconnections
between the different stages of war within the museum's spatial arrangement. It is
not just a physical pathway but a temporal and emotional journey through history
and human experience.
● Each axis—Genesis, Transformation, Aftermath—is mapped with key stages of the
war narrative. The lines between stages such as Rumination to Escalation or Catalyst
to Engagement illustrate not only a sequential flow but also potential feedback loops
where historical insights might inform current understandings.
