The medical college building will consist of the first eight
departments on the list, which run from human anatomy to community
medicine. The teaching hospital building will have the remaining
departments, which go from general medicine to orthopaedics.
A well-equipped Skill Laboratory is now required under the new
regulation to train students, and it also establishes a Medical Education
Unit to train medical teachers in educational pedagogy.
The estimated price of building each of these colleges is Rs. 325
crores. The state governments would fund the 40% and the central
government would fund the remaining 60%.
1.2. Aim
To create solutions for developing a medical college campus
conducive to optimal learning outcomes and fostering both educational
excellence and wellness among its users.
To ensure that the new medical college meets the diverse needs and
preferences of its future occupants by launching a survey among multiple
medical colleges across India, seeking feedback on present user experiences
within these institutions. Utilizing the data collected from this survey as a
foundational framework, this project has to address prevalent student
concerns and optimize the educational environment accordingly.
