SMEC’S PRIDE : STUDENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Mr. Rama Aravinth K.V (20BME0105) received the Team Assailing Falcons participated in the
prestigious DAAD-WISE fellowship for the year 2023. Advanced Class category at the SAE Aero Design
Aravinth will be completing his research internship at East 2023 competition held in Lakeland, Florida,
RWTHAachen, Germany, from May to July 2023. He is USA on March 10-12, 2023 and received the MechnoVIT
one of the few students to receive this prestigious following accolades:
fellowship.  3 Rank worldwide for the Design Report
 10 ℎ Rank worldwide in Technical Presentation
and,
 7 ℎ Rank in overall Rankings

MechnoVIT

Mr. Sri Hari (20BME0284), Mr. Arnav Thakkar Ms. Jessica Kartha (20BME0082) presented a
(20BME0652), Mr. Mohamed Yakoob research paper entitled “Influence of Organizational

(20BME0355) won the third prize and received a 13 ℎ International Conference held at Acharya
cash award of Rs.20,000/- in a Hackathon conducted Bangalore B-School (ABBS), Bengaluru, Karnataka
by Aravind Centre for Eye Care Innovation. during 05-06 January 2023.

MechnoVIT

Team RoverX participated in the International InsideFPV a company founded by SMEC alumni
Rover Challenge and bagged the 1st Runner-up along with a team of VITians (Mr. Arth Chowdhary,
position ( 2 worldwide) among 18 different Mr. Deyvant Bhardwaj and Ms. Oshi Kumari) and
countries at the International Rover Challenge incubated at VITTBI featured in SharkTankIndia
organized by the Space Robotics Society in Season 2 in SonyLIV and Sony Entertainment
Bangalore, during 27 -31 January, 2023. Television. InsideFPV Ventures Private Limited is
India’s first company to provide plug-and-fly FPV
