                                  APPRECIATING NOTE FROM PARENTS

It was a great experience for us to send our daughter to VIT
VELLORE. As a student, she grasped a lot about various mechanical
domains. It makes us feel proud that she did well in academics but also
blossomed in the fields of sports, She brought laurels in various district
competitions and marathon. The teaching staff and labs helped in the
overall development of our child and gave her the practical knowledge
about the subject. We are elated to send our daughter to the place which
helped her to grow into an individual who is ready to face any challenges. MechnoVIT

     VOICE OF STUDENT AMBASSADOR

“She was powerful not because she wasn’t scared but because she went on so strongly, despite the fear. “ MechnoVIT
Women empowerment is not a mere word for empowering but revamping the way in which society perceives
the notion of a woman. We are doers, we are the birth makers and we are the girls who are entitled to
revolutionize the world. As I write today for the women I believe in I speak on behalf of all the girls who took a
daunting step to enter into a field that is entitled chiefly to men’s arena. But, It is the vision of our SMEC
School which leaves no stone unturned, to empower, emancipate and provide tremendous opportunities to
the girls who see themselves making a change in society and the world.
The department has always aimed to provide the best labs, giving pupils hands-on experience with machines,
unleashing our knowledge by organizing various industrial visits, guest lectures as well as National and
International Conferences, working to turn an individual into a person who can, think, innovate, invent, and is
      an ardent leader.
As far as my experience is concerned I believe that I had a plethora of opportunities to shape my personality. MechnoVIT
From winning National level writing competitions to taking n number of leadership roles, from being a part of
massive conferences to visiting IIT Kharagpur for summer school, from being awarded as Super Achiever as
well as Achiever Award and then becoming student ambassador of the mechanical department, This list is
      never-ending.
I believe it was the vision of our SMEC school, especially our DEAN AND HOD, who have faith that girls with
dreams become the future leaders of tomorrow. I am obliged to all my teachers who looked at all of us as
students not as a girl or a boy, and did their best to provide a great education. I am, grateful to all my peers
and friends who always stood as rocking stones, and all the nonteaching staff for helping me during labs and
      whenever there was a need.
In the end, these lines are something that motivates me during darkening days, “ People who are crazy enough
to think they can change the world are the ones who do it and I believe this craziness should drive all the girls
to achieve unending heights, Always remember the sky is not the limit it is the universe, don’t be scared, voice MechnoVIT
