Today we are in the age of digital transformation and we MechnoVIT
experience how disruptive technologies introduce digital
transformation in every aspect of life and business across
     products, processes and resources.
This is digitalisation and we call this the era of Industry
4.0 where product and its ecosystem is individualized. It
is a catalyst for Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India)
with the theme of “Vocal for Local and Work for Global”
to propel the economic growth of our country to the
target of $5 trillion by 2026- 27. The COVID pandemic
has further made us aware that digitalisation of work is MechnoVIT
the need of the hour. Any product development will have
     its typical life cycle stages.
                                                                      Mr. Rabindra Sah
The faster we bring the product to the market, higher Chief Engineer - Strategic Projects, Global
will be the benefits in terms of higher market share, Practices (Engineering Research & Design,
gain of opportunity cost, time savings, transparency, PLM & Digital Enterprise System) - Tata
handling complexity, and last but not the least – the Technologies
     much needed push towards globalization.

To achieve above objectives and various life cycle stage, emphasis should be to push more work on front
loading with use of digital technologies and digital processes at each stage and then integrate the entire MechnoVIT
process in digital platform to create & manage better business and customer experience. Various pillars or
elements of Industry 4 .0 make achieving the above goals feasible. It connects value streams horizontally
and vertically. Each element of value stream becomes SMART and gets connected to each other. Part to
Print and Shop to Top Floor, Business to Business, all gets seamlessly connected to a monitor, which helps
track & improve overall performance and subsequently experience & control from anywhere in real time.
Level of adoption & its maturity facilitates a successful journey.
                                                                                                           MechnoVIT
