The VITAA Chennai Institutional Chapter organized an innovative and engaging

JavaScript Hackathon from 08 to 10 November, 2024. This three‐day event was
designed with the goal of providing students with hands‐on experience in JavaScript, one

of the most widely used programming languages in the world. The hackathon aimed to
empower participants with practical skills while challenging them to work on real‐world,

cutting‐edge projects

that would enhance

their coding proficiency

and problem‐solving

abilities. This event was

SMEC Alumni Meet at Chennai Campus – 10 Dec

On 10 December 2024, the School of Mechanical Engineering (SMEC), VIT Chennai
th
organized a Alumni Meet, exclusively for Mechanical Engineering to strengthen the

alumni network. The meet served as a valuable opportunity for the Mechanical

Engineering department to engage with alumni, gather their insights, and discuss ways

to enhance the curriculum and overall academic environment in alignment with industry

standards and expectations. In this event 57 SMEC Alumni members participated.
