The alumni of the 1997 batch later felicitated the teaching and non teaching staff

of 1997. Fund of INR 6.15 lakh was handed over to the University from

engineering alumni of the 1997 batch to the VITAA. The event ended with the

planting of trees on behalf of the batch 1997.

On behalf of VITAA Salem Chapter, the chapter President Mr. Sathish Vel

(B.Tech. Mech 2006), contributed Rs.1 lakh to our Honourable Chancellor

Dr. G. Viswanathan on 5 th Aug. 2022 for Universal Higher Education Trust

(UHET). Mr. Ajay Viswanathan, Vice President, VITAA Salem Chapter and
Mr. Sundar Raj P from UHET were also present.
