VITAA Fundraising Schemes

The Fundraising schemes were launched by our Honourable Chancellor

Dr.G.Viswanathan during the VITAA Day celebration on 26 January 2020. He appealed
th
to the alumni to generously contribute to support the needy and also for the benefit of

the university.

 VITians for VITians (V4V) – Donation of Rs.1000 by Alum in India or USD 50 by

Alum abroad to support a current needy student at VIT.

 Wall of Fame – GOLD sponsor: Rs. 10 Lakh rupees, SILVER sponsor: Rs.5.lakh

rupees, BRONZE sponsor: Rs.1 Lakh rupees (different plaque sizes to be on a

dedicated space in the Technology Tower lobby).
 Name the Room (NTR) - Donate Rs.15 Lakhs – A Classroom will be named after

Alumni or his/her dedication, Donate Rs.18 Lakhs – A Laboratory will be named
after Alumni or his/her dedication.

 Alumni Professorial chair - Establish a Professorial Chair at VIT by donating Rs 24

Lakh rupees annually to meet the salary of a Professor. An alum can also move

his/her industry to have a chair and carry out Research / Projects beneficial to the

sponsoring industry involving Faculty Members and Students of VIT for mutual

benefit.
