CFM
The Centre for Functional
RESEARCH FOCUS Materials (CFM) at VIT, Vellore
was established in Dec. 2016 as

remaned and reorganised in
Nov. 2020. The centre is
intended to prioritize the
research which are of national
interest by hilighting new
findings and to discuss current
trends in specific domain.
At this centre we explore
EXPERTS TALK different classes of functional
materials ranging from

and molecular crystals to
nanoparticles. CFM has also
been active in providing
various state-of-the-art
characterization facilities like,
optical, microhardness,
dielectric, photoconductivity
studies etc. The centre gains
RECENT attention due to its immense
FINDINGS publication in the diverse field
of research in the functional
