3.1.4 Design study
• Program area: 29,404 square meters; amenities and circulation: 15%
• 33,815 square meters in total (approx.) for more than 13,400 visitors. Area divided by
person is 25 square meters.
• It finds inspiration in Gandhi's life and teachings. To commemorate the Dandi March, the
memorial is shaped like a mound (Salt mound).
•In the Gandhi Garden, an open amphitheater with a linear view of the dome is designed. On
the convention roof, a sloping green roof terrace is being planned for public usage. For both
aesthetic and practical reasons, landscape designs frequently include fountains, ponds, or
other water elements.
• The facility comprises eight gates and a separate cargo loading bay. A central corridor
with landscape elements divides the center.
