1.4 OBJECTIVES
• To create affordable luxury residences for IT sector professionals.
• Designing a pedestrian and cycle-friendly, barrier-free environment.
• Incorporating energy-efficient principles in the design to minimize maintenance needs.
• Enhancing the standard of living by providing amenities such as swimming pools, gyms, play
areas, parks, community spaces, meditation centers, and a clubhouse.
• Offering a variety of housing options, including 2BHK, 3BHK, and 4BHK, to cater to different
income groups.
• Designing the community to be in close harmony with nature.
1.5 METHODOLOGY
The methodology for this project involves:
1. General Information: Begin by gathering general information about group housing planning,
including its components, definition, and the services it offers.
2. Study of Group Housing Planning and Design: Conduct a comprehensive study of group
housing planning and design, analyzing various case studies to understand different
approaches and strategies.
3. Detailed Study of Each Aspect: Perform a detailed study of each aspect of group housing
planning and design, using different live case studies to gain in-depth insights.
4. Evolution of Design Concept: Based on the findings from the previous steps, evolve a design
concept that addresses the unique requirements and challenges of group housing.
5. Progress towards Developing the Design: Progress towards developing the final design,
incorporating the concepts and ideas generated through the study process.
