2.1.5 Lotus Temple, India - Fariborz Sahba

The Lotus Temple, nestled in New Delhi, India, is a spectacular testament to
architectural prowess, embodying unity, tranquility, and religious diversity.
The brainchild of Iranian architect Fariborz Sahba, this emblematic edifice is
celebrated for its captivating lotus-like structure and groundbreaking
                     construction techniques.

The architectural concept of the Lotus Temple is distinguished by its singular

                     equilibrium.

gardens which amplify the peaceful atmosphere of the location. The exterior
of the temple is embellished with intricate geometric designs and latticework,
drawing inspiration from conventional Indian and Persian architectural
themes. These filter daylight into the inner areas, producing a captivating
                     interplay of light and shadow.

The central prayer hall is located at the core of the Lotus Temple, providing a
