Executive Summary
The study focuses on designing interventions for students in high-pressure environments,
specifically within the coaching culture of India, exemplified by places like Kota. These
interventions are categorized into three levels: unit, cluster, and neighborhood. The primary aim is to
address the need and challenges posed by the prevalent hustle culture, while promoting balance and
sustainability among students.

At the unit level, interventions are tailored to individual students and their residence,offering
personalized support and resources to cope with academic pressure. Cluster-level interventions target
the academic zone, prioritizing productivity,fostering collaboration, peer support, and healthy
competition. Neighborhood-level interventions extend beyond the academic realm, integrating
community resources and support networks to create a holistic environment conducive to student
well-being.
The study critically examines the hustle culture prevalent in high-pressure academic environments,
questioning its impact on students' mental health and overall well-being. By advocating for balance
and sustainability, the interventions seek to mitigate the adverse effects of excessive stress and
competition, promoting a healthier and more supportive educational environment for students in
coaching cultures like Kota, India.
