Inauguration of
NEW & RENOVATED LABS
The renovated “Computational Fluid Dynamics” lab is functioning
from May 2024 with 75 computer systems with the sophisticated
CFD software capabilities catering the needs of the UG and PG
students
SMEC has established the Heat and Mass Transfer Laboratory at the CDMM Block. The laboratory was
set up in August 2023. The students were formerly utilising the HMT laboratory linked to the SCHEME.
The laboratory is adequately equipped for investigations pertaining to conduction, convection, and
radiation. In the next years, more challenging laboratory experiments will be implemented,
emphasizing real-time applications of heat transfer through collaboration with industry.
