My Idea competition:
62 My Idea
contests were organized in VIT and other partnering institutions and
several hundreds of were motivated to think on socially relevant problems and
propose solutions during these events. Details are attached.
Innovation Funding from TePP Program of DSIR:
Six innovators were facilitated to raise Rs.47.5 Lakhs as innovation grant from DSIR
under the TePP program through our TePP outreach center for developing prototypes
of their innovative ideas. 17 innovators (including students and faculty of VIT) were
facilitated to raise Rs.11.56 Lakhs as innovation grants from TePP for concept
validation / idea testing activities. Details are attached.
Villgro Innovative Student Project Funding:
32 VIT student projects were funded to the tune of
Rs.8.20 Lakhs
during the period
under the Villgro innovative student project funding scheme. Details are attached.
