Experiential Learning
:
During the two year MBA programme, a student may be
attached to a Manufacturing / Service / Organization / village / Nongovernmental
Organization / SHG / Non Profit Organization / Developmental Organization or any
other institution the VITBS found it to be fit for gaining hands on experience either at
a stretch or during weekends but the total work load involving 270 productive hours
equivalent to 3 credits. Objective being pragmatic hands on experience, understanding
the social & business environs and develop a sense of empathy with contribution to
the organization for better productivity or enhancing standard of living or self
sustenance which will be evaluated by the faculty advisor, Programme Chair in
consultation with Dean.

By conducting workshops and seminors on newly evolved areas
For every course, the teachers are advised to arrange at least one industrial visit
and accompanying the students for that trip. Further, the technical questions on
industrial visits are included in the examination.

The Faculty members are asked to present their research findings to the students
and the collegues periodically.
The faculty members are encouraged to carry out the funded projects and
consultancy projects to generate the new knowledge for the society.
To foster research nueances amongst the faculty members department has
engaged with modern research facilities by means of obtaining external projects,
to name a few solid state devices, VLSI, Optical Networking
All the classrooms are also equipped with LCDs and Multimedia based systems
to facilitate advanced methods of learning. All classrooms are provided with
Internet facility which will enable the teacher to disseminate knowledge in a
global environment. The video conferencing facility in the central library is used
to facilitate lectures where the students are taught by teachers across the globe.
