event picked up its tempo and was a roaring success with a tremendous participation

Dr. Radhakrishnan, I.A.S., Secretary to Government Health & Family Welfare
Department, Tamil Nadu at Kumara Rani Meena Muthaiah Hall, Chennai0n 13

September 2103. They were also specially appreciated by Ms.K.Sumathi,
Advocate, High Court, Chennai.
Our VIT Chennai stood in the 4
th
Position for mobilising more than 500 donors in the
midst of many other N.S.S. units (roughly 20) from various city colleges such as
Loyola, Stella Mary's , D.G. Vaishnav, Sathyabama University, Rajalakshmi
Engineering College, B.S. Abdur Rehman University, SRM University.

Our students from Quiz Club participated in the Sweden-India Nobel Memorial Week
2013 held at IIT, Chennai on 22
nd
September 2013 and won the Third Place. They
have been awarded a memento and Certificate of Appreciation for their commendable
performance. The team comprised the following students:

On 25
th
October 2013, a Chinese Cultural Festival, Chennai2China, was organized by
the Chinese Language Centre, VIT Chennai. The festival was open to all students in
the campus. All students who had taken the course and those registered a new
participated enthusiastically in being part of the cultural. Chinese and Indian Cultures
found platform to showcase their countries’ cultural bondage in the form of Photo
Exhibition, Tea Ceremony, Painting, Calligraphy, Chinese Kung fu, Fan Dance,
Peacock Dance, Poetry Recitation and rendering of Chinese songs
