1.
Increase placement of VITBS students by two fold compared to every academic year.

Measure students skills in subject areas

Assure that the skills the students possess are comparable to the top 10% of Business
graduates in India

Make adjustments in the teaching and learning process to meet the target in (b)

Provide additional communication skills ( organize programs through ASC / other
mechanisms ); Measure the communication skills and rectify problems if any

a.
A faculty member must have at least two areas of academic and professional strength
that are recognized by the school and the professional practitioners

Identify at least three areas where the school’s strength will be known in the next
three years among the people in industry and the potential competitors

Enhance the image of the school in the areas identified through:
- recognized skills of graduates
- faculty publications
- executive development programs conducted by the faculty for the industry
personnel
- possible areas for certification or degree programs are: project management for
software and construction industry; quality management; Charted Accountancy; SAP
- recognized annual conferences conducted by the school
- partnerships developed with industry
- partnerships developed with international educational institutions
d. Utilize existing partnerships with such institutions as Cornell, Princeton and others to
develop additional faculty competencies in areas such as Survey Research, and
International Affairs and Business
