The School offers M.S., and Ph.D research programmes. The Engineering and MCA
programmes are accredited by the Institution of Engineering & Technology (IET),
U.K.

The programmes are designed to cater to the ever changing needs and demands of the
IT industry. The focus is on holistic learning and empowering students to make
significant contributions at all levels.
CHALLENGES

Skills needed to analyze the global impact of technology.

Faculty guidance process for the selection of general education and management
courses should recommend the students taking technology management and
international management courses.
3.
Increased placement opportunities for programmes like BCA, B.Sc. Multimedia and
Animation, etc.

Increased interaction with industry experts through special lectures to understand
better the process involved in design and implementation of computer based systems.

Increased class projects to study the user environment and enhance competencies in
project management.

Future plans of the department.
The School of Information Technology & Engineering (SITE) envisage moving
technology to people, harmonize people with information systems, and improve the
quality of life. To achieve this vision, we shall educate new generations of professionals
by substantiating our curricula with sound principles and concepts and put them into
practice in accordance to both Industry and Academia.
