given due recognition for their achievements if they win prizes in oral / poster
presentation at conferences conducted elsewhere.
The information on publications as well as the funded projects is also included
in the Annual Performance of the Evaluation of the faculty.
3.4.9 What are the incentives given to the faculty for receiving state,
national and international recognition for research contributions?
Certification of appreciation and cash award is given to faculty members for
their recognition in research. Financial support is also provided to these
faculty members to attend international conferences.
3.5 Consultancy
3.5.1 What is the official policy of the University for Structured
Consultancy? List a few important consultancies undertaken by the
university during the last four years.
Availability of possible areas of consultancy is announced via the University
website or on contact basis. The faculty members are given 40% of the
revenue generated through consultancy in recognition of their services. In
case of intellectual consultancy projects, the share of the faculty member is
60%.
