2.5.2
What is the average time taken by the university for declaration of
examination results? In case of delay, what measures have been taken to
address them? Indicate the mode / media adopted by the university for
the publication of examination results (
e.g.
website, SMS, email, etc.).
Results are published approximately within 30 days from the last day of the
examination. The examination results are accessible to students, parents and
also the faculty members through the Internet.
2.5.3
How does the university ensure transparency in the evaluation
process? What are the rigorous features introduced by the university to
ensure confidentiality?
The evaluation methodology for the courses is informed to the students, during
the commencement of the semester. The information is also available at the
academic portal. The key for evaluation of the answer scripts is also made
available to the student. The marks of all the assessments / examination
conducted are displayed. Each student has a specific login username and
password for viewing the information, thus ensuring confidentiality. Parents
also have similar log in and password to access the information of their wards.
The students have an option to ‘See’ their answer scripts of Term End
Examination after evaluation and they can also opt for re-evaluation, if
needed. In the case of internal evaluation, the answer scripts are returned to
the students.
2.5.4
Does the university have an integrated examination platform for
the following processes?
Pre-examination processes – Time table generation, OMR, student list
generation, invigilators, squads, attendance sheet, online payment gateway,
etc.
Examination process – Examination material management, logistics, etc.
Post-examination process – Attendance capture, OMR-based exam result,
auto processing, generic result processing, certification, etc.
The complete processes related to examination are linked via a central server.
Pre-examination process is a registration system where the student chooses the
courses under FFCS as per his/her requirements. The examination schedule is
given well in advance (at least two months before the commencement of the
Term End Examination). Hall - tickets (indicating the name, register number
of candidates, subjects for which they have registered for examination and
seating place of Examination) are forwarded to each School and School
Manager shall distribute hall tickets to candidates three days before the
commencement of examinations. Any discrepancy in the hall tickets should be
immediately brought to the notice of the Controller of Examinations. In cases
where names of candidates are the same or similar, Chief Superintendents are
requested to take care that each candidate receives proper hall-ticket, after
ascertaining date of birth, expansion of initials to the names, language,
optional subjects and other identifying facts. If necessary, date of birth of
those candidates may be appended to their names.
