VIT organises Campus recruitments for the VIT Chinese and other foreign
students with companies like Cognizant, TCS, HSBC, KPIT Cummins,
Murugappa etc. These companies have recruited these foreign students for
their Chinese operations.

Does the university have a registered Alumni Association? If yes,
what are its activities and contributions to the development of the
university?
VIT University has the one of the largest alumni network. The following
are the salient features of the VIT alumni network:
There are about 13 Alumni chapters across the country and 14 outside the
country including Australia, UK, Muscat, Rwanda, Cannada, Germany,
Singapore and UAE
The Alumni Association of VIT University (VITAA) has been functioning
from 1996 at the University campus. The main aim of the association is to
maintain the link between University and Alumni and share details of
mutual growth, achievement and advancement in various fields.
The Alumni already employed in reputed organizations in India and
abroad help the final year students in their project work and also inform
them about the employment opportunities in their respective organizations.
The University in turn provides free access to the library and assists
budding Alumni entrepreneurs like you to incubate your technology
venture.
The VITAA members meet for an Annual get-together (VITAA Day) on
January 26th, every year. All Alumni present are taken around the campus
with special emphasis on new facilities, recent developments and ongoing
research work.
Outstation Alumni who come to attend the Annual get-together meeting
are provided with all comforts. All Alumni participate in various
entertainment programs and games organized in the University, with their
spouse and children. Sumptuous lunch is also arranged for the entire
gathering apart from refreshments. The Alumni make it a point to attend
the Annual get-together function on Jan 26th every year. Alumni are
invited to VIT University whenever they visit Vellore.

Does the university have a student grievance redressal cell? Give
details of the nature of grievances reported. How were they redressed?
The University does have a student grievance redressal cell, under the
office of the Students Welfare. About 50 – 100 grievances have been
reported annually. The grievances are mostly received through mails from
the students concerned. Most of these grievances are addressed through a
