About 40 Endowment Awards are given annually to meritorious students
studying in the final year. These awards are offered for different
disciplines. The following are the details of scholarship and endowments
from the year 2009 to 2013.

The University offers scholarships to meritorious students, endowment
awards, assistance for economically backward students and students
admitted through STARS programme.
In addition to this, companies like CTS and Snieder award scholarships to
meritorious students.

What percentage of students receive financial assistance from
state government, central government and other national agencies
(Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY), SN Bose Fellow, etc.)?
None of the undergraduate and postgraduate students receive financial
assistance from the governmental and national agencies. However, the
research students receive
Senior Research Fellowships
from agencies like
CSIR, ICMR and other minority fellowships.

Does the university have an International Student Cell to attract
foreign students and cater to their needs?
The University has an International Relations Office, headed by a Director,
to take initiatives to attract foreign students and also to provide support
and ambient atmosphere during their stay at the University.
