* Research: The interaction with researchers with partner universities or
institutes has enhanced the quality of research and thereby the quality of the
research output in terms of publications in peer reviewer journals and also in
filing patents.
* Consultancy: The areas of consultancy and also the number of consultancy
projects have increased compared to the last accreditation cycle.
* Student placement: Increase in student placement
3.7.3 Has the university signed any MoUs with institutions of
national/international importance/other universities/ industries/corporate
houses etc.? If yes, how have they enhanced the research and development
activities of the university?
The University has 160
MoUs with other Universities, Institutes and
Industries. These MoUs are helpful for the fulfillment of the Semester Abroad
Programme of the students. The number of students availing the SAP facility
is on the rise. The following are the statistics with regard to SAP.

Both faculty and student exchange programmes have been initiated by these
MoUs. Guest lectures and workshops have also been arranged through these
linkages. The details of the activities taken up through these MoUs are given
in the ‘Evaluative Reports of the Schools’.
