its IT workforce. This thesis proposes a comprehensive design for a group housing
project aimed specifically at catering to the needs and preferences of IT sector
professionals in Chennai.

The research focuses on understanding the lifestyle, work patterns, and preferences of
the IT sector workforce, identifying key challenges they face in terms of housing, and
exploring sustainable design strategies to address these challenges. The project aims
to create a living environment that not only provides comfortable and functional living
