Executive Summary

The proposed design for the Visakhapatnam Astrodome, Planetarium and Aerospace
Museum (VSPSAM) aims to create a unique architectural landmark that embodies the awe-
inspiring vastness of space exploration while celebrating the rich cultural heritage of
Visakhapatnam, India.

The thesis explores the concept of a holistic visitor experience, encompassing both the
physical structure and the immersive exhibits within. The architectural design will draw
inspiration from celestial forms and orbital mechanics, translating these concepts into a
